Write and Get Paid

Earn a living doing what you love!

Denise Gabbard is a professional writer, editor, SEO and Social Media consultant with more career experience than she cares to admit. Suffering from burnout, she bailed from the corporate world in search of something she could call her own. Previous experience included working as an executive recruiter, property manager, and Finance Director in the automobile industry for twelve years.

She has written, proofed, and edited all types of writing work, and has extensive work published on the web, several e-books ghostwritten, and print publishing credits. Of course, like all writers, her first novel is in the works:)

Married to her high school sweetheart, Denise took the courses to fulfill the first two years of her bachelor’s degree at the local community college, juggling motherhood until life got in the way and she went to work full time. Now empty nesters, Denise is taking those final courses to finish that degree, and teaching hersefl all there is to know about the internet– which she shares with all of you.

With several years of experience building websites, filling them with compelling content, and marketing small businesses; she has clients around the world and earns a good living with this work– finally!

Denise Gabbard started looking for alternatives to working long hours for a large company more than five years ago, and found many ways to make that happen. She now can work in my pajamas if I wish, or on the beach with a laptop, which is a great feeling having that sort of flexibility while earning a good living.

There are lots of places where writers can find work on the internet, if you know where to look! And, there is so much work available– she will try to continually update as new sources are unearthed, new freelance opportunities open up, and other items of interest to people interested in working from home appear, as well as adding reviews of any personal experiences with sites. She is also open to guest posts about relevant topics— so please email them to denise.gabbard@gmail.com.

If you find a great site that readers should know about, please let me know!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I would love to get paid for content related to my theme and audience for my book, but not to promote products or services. I guess that only leaves me with content and entertainment.

My wife and I need your help in writing an ebook on natural hormone balancing. My wife is a family practice doctor and is board certified in anti-aging medicine. We would like to complete this ebook ASAP. I have sent you a skype contact request. Looking forward to working with you.

Hey John, Sorry for the slow response. I don’t really do Skype much, but I will log in and add you so that we can talk about this ebook that you need completed. Sounds like a great topic! Thanks, Denise

I am a new blogger, and I love to write. Always was scarred to venture out of my box. I know my spelling and grammer are a huge problem at times. I have gotten better as the years have progressed, however I wouldnt say I am top notch awesome. lol I just want to do something of importance to change the world. Maybe just change myself. However I might just have my head in the clouds. Actually if you would have the time and interest maybe you could check out my blog and give me any advice you have. If not its okay, because I deeply enjoyed reading your blog. :) Thanks for your time in reading this I really appreciate it. :)

Hi Tasha— I don’t think you did too terribly bad with this comment, so I would think a little more practice and maybe using a grammar checker would help. I am going to check out your blog now:)
